Happy Birthday

…to you, Baby M!

The phone rang at 8:15pm. I grabbed the camera and ran out the door, but this baby was in a hurry! I got to the hospital just minutes after she was born. Daddy was meeting his new little bundle of joy, so excited to have a girl this time!

Mom is glowing. Can you believe she had a baby less than an HOUR ago?

And the baby is just adorable. She was immediately alert and studying her new world. Look at her check out Daddy!

Can you keep a secret?

I’ve been trying to tie up some loose ends and get all the details in order before blogging this session. But then I got impatient. So, I can’t tell you what’s all in the works just yet, but here is a little preview of what’s to come!

A Little Luck, A Little Lunch

I knew it was going to be a good day when I snapped this first shot of the session. Before we even really began, I got this one while the rest of the family were still making their way toward us. It was literally the first image on the camera.

We live in Okinawa. Let’s face it, summer is HOT. But we managed to have a good time regardless. Here’s Dad playing with each of his boys.

Mom said Soba is a big part of their life here in Okinawa and she wanted the family photos to capture that aspect too. So we stopped for lunch at their favorite noodle house. Looks like someone is getting pretty handy with the chopsticks!

We finished up just MINUTES before the rain came. Really, the timing couldn’t have been better. The family portrait just isn’t the same when you’re drenched. I think they like this version better!
